Turning staff uniforms into symbols of circularity
Intersport is supporting athletes in their daily lives. Together, we explored how the garments worn by the people who bring the brand to life, the sales teams, could start a brand-new life cycle.
The answer: A collection of upcycled accessories, crafted from the brand’s former uniforms and redistributed to the teams to close the loop.
The Challenge
Intersport staff uniforms are regularly updated to maintain a fresh brand image in-store. Instead of viewing these used textiles as waste, the challenge was to repurpose this branded material into functional, high-quality, and desirable products : one cap, one hip pack and one shoe bag.

Encourage your staff to embrace a more circular approach
- Sourcing and Design: we collected former uniforms (jackets) directly from the teams. We designed the products by leveraging the durability of sports fabrics and Intersport’s iconic color codes.
- Expert production: to ensure a premium "expert" finish, manufacturing was entrusted to our partner workshops in Portugal. This choice guarantees high-end craftsmanship within a responsible European supply chain.
- Redistribution: the products never leave the Intersport family. Once transformed, they are sent back to the stores to be worn and used by the sales staff themselves.
